Welcome to Immanuel Elementary
Welcome to Immanuel Elementary School! I am humbled and blessed to be a part of such an incredible family in my second year as the IES Principal, and I’m beyond excited for the adventures that God continues to have in store for us! Whether you are new to our school or a returning family, we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with one another in equipping every child to serve God and serve others with mind, body, and soul – based on a Christ-centered foundation.
Our theme for this year is GOD IS FAITHFUL. Psalm 36:5 says, "Your Love, oh LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies." What a tremendous hope and courage that empowers us when we reflect on this truth! As students dig deeper into this idea, my desire is for them to realize that because GOD IS FAITHFUL, we should in turn be faithful to God...trusting in Christ and Christ alone for our salvation...becoming imitators of Him more and more each day. Because GOD IS FAITHFUL, we can celebrate and give thanks when we pause to reflect on how He has been there through every challenge, every triumph, and every new day...and this school year will be no different!
To our families: At Immanuel your child will experience a rigorous academic program as they build relationships with teachers and peers. Through literature and writing, math and science, history and social studies, art and music, technology and STEM, PE and sports... whether it’s chapel time or field trips, after school clubs or family events... students will grow in their knowledge, abilities, character, and faith as they are immersed in God’s amazing goodness and love.
To our students: You are here for a reason and a purpose, as He is calling you to be a part of His great story. My prayer is that you will experience Him this year like never before as we live and grow in the assurance and confidence that comes with knowing GOD IS FAITHFUL!
