Born in Selma, CA. Lived in Kingsburg and Dinuba. Attended Immanuel Junior High and High School. Went to Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas on a basketball scholarship and enjoyed my college experience in the midwest. I graduated in 4 years and got married to Leanne Schellenberg(used to be). Leanne also graduated from Immanuel High School and Tabor College. We decided to move back to the area. Both Leanne and I have enjoyed working in the school system. We both love seeing students succeed, grow, and mature. We have a beautiful little daughter who is almost 2 years old.
I have developed a passion for preparing students for the future. Whether that means preparation for college or career. Career Technical Education is a popular trend in education right now. My classes focus on helping students decide what they would like to do with their life in the future and then prepare them with skills and opportunities to gain experience. I also try to utilize technology to the max. I feel pretty confident that many jobs of the future will continue to advance in technology and our students need to be proficient with basic technology skills. Hard work and a positive attitude are extremely important to me. I try to exemplify these traits each day and expect my students to do the same.
