WELCOME TO IMMANUEL JUNIOR HIGH

Immanuel is so much more than a school. Immanuel is a place where Christ is clearly evident in decisions made, lessons in class, and student relationships around campus. Our school theme this year is “For His Glory”. My goal for our students is for them to succeed academically, socially, or athletically while glorifying Christ in all things; both in success and in failure. By understanding what it truly means to glorify God in everything we do, the culture and community of Immanuel can become an even brighter light for the world to see and follow.

I am very excited to start the new school year and witness first-hand the work of God on our campus. I am looking forward to making connections with our students and assisting them in achieving academic excellence while building on their relationship with Christ.

CHAPEL PROGRAM

Chapel Time: Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am -9:40 pm

The Immanuel chapel experience is truly a highlight and central focus of attending Immanuel. Twice weekly, students in grades 7-12 join together for a time of worship and teaching that serves as a catalyst for their spiritual development. The Worship Fundamentals class helps create an environment in which students are free to worship through song in both energetic and introspective manners. The chapel band is comprised of students with a heart for worship who strive to lead the student body closer to the heart of Christ through current, modern praise and worship songs. Our outstanding chapel speakers, selected from area churches and Christian organizations, teach from the Word of God in practical and meaningful ways, challenging the students to grow in their faith. Monthly all-music chapels are held, with an opportunity for students to participate in communion and a time for worship, praise, introspection and prayer. Each year, the students experience two Spiritual Emphasis weeks, in the fall and spring, in which extra time is set aside to hone in on God’s Word and applications of His teachings. Students are further encouraged in their Life Groups, which meet bi-weekly and participate in Christian service projects in the community.

“Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for Joy!” Psalm 98:4
