Welcome! My name is Jean Myers, I am the agriculture education instructor and FFA advisor for Immanuel Schools and Immanuel FFA Chapter. I have been teaching at Immanuel for two years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching, coaching and worshiping with students and staff. The agriculture education program was established in 2014 and continuously growing ever since. The Immanuel Ag Department has been recognized at the section, region and state levels in various areas of leadership and student projects. It is our mission to develop student success through premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
I am originally from Indio, California in Southern California, I currently reside in Hanford, California. Growing up on my families cattle and horse ranch I knew I wanted a career that I could share my passion for the agriculture industry. My twin brother and I grew up with livestock, leadership and unique experiences that have shaped us into the agriculture advocates we are today. I am grateful to my parents and family for their continuous love, guidance and support of the demanding career that is agriculture education. In my spare time I enjoy raising boer goats with my boyfriend, working with students to expand their leadership and public speaking skills and playing with my corgi, Scarlett and queensland heeler, Bruce.
