Welcome to Immanuel Elementary School where we proudly proclaim Jesus as the center of our education. Our goal is to blend rigorous academic programs with solid Biblical teaching. We value student relationships and desire to partner with families to educate the whole child - mind, body, and soul. Our dedicated teachers and staff are passionate about speaking truth into students’ lives in order to build a foundation of faith that will last a lifetime. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

August of 2017 was a special time for IES as we moved into our new, state-of-the-art elementary facility. It has been exciting to see how the Lord continues to use this facility to further His Kingdom. Each morning we gather as a student body to pray and recognize the blessing we have to proclaim Christ in a school setting. In addition to core subjects, elementary students participate in daily devotions, music, art, physical education, technology, and chapel each week. Immanuel's unique, K-12 campus fosters community and creates a family-focused atmosphere.

As we transition into the 2018-19 school year, we are excited for how the Lord will be glorified through our students, faculty, and campus life. Our theme this year, For His Glory, is taken from 1 Corinthians 10:31, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” In this ever-changing world, we count it a privilege to train-up the next generation to fully understand Christ's love and bring Him glory.

Our academic program is both rigorous and balanced. We make curriculum decisions based on what is best for creating well-rounded, responsible, and motivated learners. See our curriculum guides for further information on grade-level specifics.
Technology is integrated into each classroom through teacher instruction and student access. In addition, students receive 30 minutes per week of push-in technology instruction with a technology teacher. Students have access to class sets of iPads and MacBooks.
We would LOVE for you to get involved in our IES Parent Teacher Fellowship!
Regular PTF Meeting
Meetings are regularly scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Library
K-6th grade students participate in a weekly chapel service where they are challenged to grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Students worship, listen to a guest speaker, and enjoy a time of fellowship. IES Chapel Time: Fridays from 2:00-2:40 p.m.

We believe in the importance of teaching our students the meaning of "Serve Beyond Self". Students and staff participate in various service projects throughout the year. An annual "Serve Day" gives Immanuel the opportunity to serve our neighbors and local community, while projects such as "Operation Christmas Child" spread the love of Jesus worldwide.
Physical Education Class
Elementary students have 3 pull-out sessions of PE each week with a PE teacher.
Cross Country
In the Fall, students in 3rd-5th grade have the opportunity to participate in cross country. The team competes at several local meets.
In the Spring, students in 2nd-5th grade have the opportunity to participate in track. The team competes in the Reedley Rotary Meet and students can qualify to continue on through the Valley Championship Meet.
6th Grade
Our sixth grade students have the opportunity to try out for junior high sports teams.
Students participate in 2 pull-out sessions of music per week with a music teacher. Music class is two-fold: students learn music fundamentals as well as performing arts. Elementary students prepare and perform two music programs per year and are also given the opportunity to participate in some high school musical productions.
