Overview:

Hi, my name is Leeann (Pauls) Friesen. I was born and raised in Reedley. I grew up attending Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church and going to Reedley Schools (Washington & Riverview). For high school, I had the privilege of attending Immanuel. During this time, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher. After high school, I continued my education at Reedley College and Fresno Pacific. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from FPU. I continued on one more year and did my credentialing through FPU as well. Following my completion of the credential program, I was hired at an elementary school in Reedley where I taught for 11 years. Most of my experience is in Kindergarten and I love it! This summer God opened a door for me to teach kindergarten at Immanuel Elementary. Step by step I followed His lead and I feel so blessed to be here. Immanuel is truly a special place. It is not just a school. It is a family; a strong community bound together by our faith in Jesus Christ.

My husband, Scott, and I just celebrated 10 years of marriage. We have been blessed with two spirited boys. Our son Peyton is in 2nd grade here at Immanuel and Carson is 2 years old. I enjoy doing different physical actives such as biking, swimming, and running. I also like drinking coffee and reading a good book. My family enjoys taking trips to Shaver Lake and going camping in our travel trailer.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
