Jr High Bible, H.S. Bible, Jr. High Student Body Activities, Jr. High Yearbook/Video

Overview:

In Acts/Church History, Juniors study the birth and growth of the Church.  I want my students to learn the purpose and role of the Church in this world and in turn their own purpose and role within the Church itself.  Jesus is building His church today and calls us to join His body in this journey of proclaiming the Gospel to the world (Ephesians 2:10).

Topics to be covered:

  • – The Book of Acts: A study of the book of Acts and the development of the early Church
  • – Selected Pauline Letters: A study of selected themes in the Pauline letters as they relate to the development of the early Church.
  • – Church Development after the New Testament: A study of key church theologians following the completion of the New Testament organization of the Bible as we have it today.
