Second Grade Teacher

I am so blessed to be a part of the teaching staff at Immanuel Schools. This year I will be celebrating my 25th school year and I am excited to see what God does in the lives and hearts of this group of second graders. Every year I look forward to learning new things and getting to know the students I see each day. I love teaching and I am thrilled that God chose me for this place! Over the years I have been blessed to work with students of all ages. Prior to teaching at Immanuel, I taught 5th grade for a number of years and then moved to 3rd grade. I left the classroom for a couple of years to help manage the process of accreditation while at the same time teaching Technology to students from Kindergarten to 6th grade. This is my sixth year at Immanuel Schools, where before moving into Second Grade, I taught 3rd, 6th and Technology K-6. I am looking forward to this, my second full year in Second Grade!

I just celebrated 45 years of marriage to my husband, Bruce. We have two grown children, and I love being Grammy to four adorable grandchildren. Our children/grandchildren live away so we connect via social media, texts, e-mails, and our trips to the Pacific Northwest.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
